Story Sessions (#AHPStorySessions) are my passion project, my whimsical take on the real life stories of my loved ones. My October Story Session was inspired by my son, his bestie, and their mutual love for Moana! At a big playdate over the summer, when "You're Welcome" came on over the stereo, these two danced their little hearts out together and made each other giggle all the way. We just had to capture their friendship in this special styled session!
Story Sessions (#AHPStorySessions) are my passion project, my whimsical take on the real life stories of my loved ones. With the season of gratitude and gathering upon us, this month's Story Session is inspired by my #momsquad and how I am so Thankful for my Tribe. PART I: "Your vibe attracts your tribe." A few weeks ago, I saw that mantra on Instagram, beautifully painted on a wood sign by a local refurbisher. It immediately brought to mind *my* tribe - the moms who have been there with me since our first kids were just a few months old (they're now 4 1/2 years old!), who have become family, who have become a lifeline. And I was inspired to do something truly special for them, especially with the season of gratitude upon us: a Moms' Happy-Hour In, all about the Fall season, spending quality time together, and celebrating these vital friendships.
PART II: As much as we loooove our sweats-and-popcorn moms' nights, I wanted to do something extra special and beautiful for them. So, we created a dreamy and lush "Sips & Sweets" table with everything a mama could wish for: champagne and elderflower liqueur, jewel-toned macarons and cupcakes hand-painted with gold, and a five-layer coffee-infused chocolate cake. For a touch of elegance: fresh organic florals, vintage stemware, and a vintage baker's table. The DIY memory hoop was a visual walk-down-memory-lane for our tribe.
Story Sessions (#AHPStorySessions) are my whimsical take on the real life stories of my loved ones. For August, I wanted to tell the story of my son and his best friend: Summer Love goes Back to School. Follow me on Instagram where I share these series first, each month :)
PART I: It's been a long summer apart for my big and his bestie. She moved to a new house. He had summer camps. "I wonder what C's doing today," he would often wonder aloud. They're *finally* reuniting to share their summer adventures and a scoop before it's back to preschool this Fall!
So TECHNICALLY, this is CBear's third visit to a hair care establishment... but it's the first time I actually let them CUT it. It has been "slightly trimmed" all around, and then his bangs were "minimally snipped." My husband still doesn't classify this third visit as a true haircut, but this is the best he's getting for right now!
